Integrated Processing Development Scheme (IPDS)

This scheme was launched by the Government in 2014 with this following component:

•    making a strength of sub-transmission and distribution networks in urban areas.
•    This scheme helps in metering of distribution feeders/transformers/consumers in urban areas
•    This scheme leads to IT enablement of distribution sectors and strengthening of networks which are distributed as per CCEA.
•    The scheme is introduced to help in reduction in AT and C losses.
•    Helps establishment of IT enable auditing system or energy accounting which leads to improvement in monthly bill in energy consumption.
